After an employee called to obtain basic eligibility information, she was left in tears over the conversation. Tom was extremely rude and dismissive. I then sent him an email, to which he responded in a very rude manor. After the conversation I listened to the recording of the call. I wish ZERO was an option!!! Tom is a miserable man!!! He is very demeaning and dismissive! Just trying to do my job and verify insurance (for over 30 years). Hate having to call him, this time he actually hung up on me! No Customer service, he needs to retire!

If I could give ZERO stars we would! Horrible on how they talk down to dental offices. We are doing our job just like you. LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE. This insurance company needs to have a talk with their employees based off the same reviews!

I work at a dental office and occasionally need to speak to Tom Newman regarding my patients claims. Every single time I call he is condescending and rude. We are supposed to be working together for the benefit of the insured, but instead of focusing on that, he makes it a point to harp and comment on the most irrelevant things. He speaks in a very belittling tone and I honestly am uncomfortable every time I have to reach out to him. He should be ashamed at how nasty is he to people.
