Terrible experience at Newham University Hospital A&E — treated with complete disregard and disrespect. I went to A&E on 24th July 2025 after twisting my foot badly. I was in serious pain and waited over four hours to be seen, which I understand can happen in A&E. But what followed was completely unacceptable. I had a horrible experience at the emergency department. I came in with a deep cut on my finger that was bleeding heavily. It was visibly serious, and I was clearly in pain and distress. Despite this, I was left waiting for over 3 hours without any treatment, proper triage, or even reassurance from staff. There was no clear communication, no updates, and no sense of urgency, even though this was supposed to be an emergency setting.
