We’ve been trying to speak with the leasing office for over three weeks, but no one ever responds. Most recently, we knocked on the door while three staff members were visibly inside, yet they refused to open it. Six other residents were waiting outside as well. As someone who works in leasing, I find this extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. The only part of Newgate that has been consistently responsive and helpful is the maintenance team! They have been really helpful!
Maintenance guys work hard and fast and fixed my backed up garbage disposal within 30 minutes and the same day I entered the request. They rock. Thanks guys!
Living at Newgate was a great experience, very quiet apartment space, no stragglers or sketchy people wondering around causing trouble, great neighbors. Bruce in the office is an amazing person and very communicative and helpful. The other two front desk people however are awful and seem to have an attitude when it comes time to do their job, after always leaving the desk unattended and get upset when you have to ask them to open the mail room door. Other than that, would love living here again.
There’s a reason why the rating to this place is so low. The upfront dude needs to learn how to control his “gangster” and not let his emotions get in the way of his costumer service to the tenants that pay to live there. Management has switched so many times it’s so hard to keep track of. They’re so focused on drowning out the bad reviews by doing dumb little raffles and think giving free popcorn out will help. So it’s been 3 weeks that me and my wife gave them the 200 dollars holding fee and didn’t get accepted but they haven’t sent us the money back and we try calling but they don’t answer would not recommend applying here
