Professional service. Good price. After I went in I realized my dad worked with Herbert Walker at the U. S. Postal Service years ago. I was pleased.
Walker Funeral Home provided the funeral for my mother and I could not ask for anything more. Rev. Keith Allen, Herb Walker, Debbie Weaver took wonderful care of my mother and everything was beautiful. They treated me professionally and worked with me thru the probate and settlement of the estate. Excellent in every way. The entire service was beautfiul. They casket was cusom made for my dad and everything was beautiful. I could not ask for anything more.
Let me chronicle my odyssey as a bystander but more importantly grieving daughter, during this time period, which by the way is still not over. My father did not want a funeral and did not wish to have a viewing, he wanted to be cremated and a mass with a blessing by our priest. When my mother went to the funeral home to make the arrangements. She was informed that as we were not doing a viewing etc, it could take up to 2 weeks for the 'remains' to be collected by the family. I had originally planned to be in Cinti for 2 wee... read more
Walker Funeral Home provided service for my family beyond anything in this world. We were able to give my mother the best funeral, best casket, and best vault for 1/4 what the other funeral home wanted to charge. Herb Walker made everything wonderful and he was careful with every little detail. His attention to details made me feel like everything was ok.
