I've dealt with two Newcomer locations: the one in Grove City, the other in northeast Columbus. I was only a visitor for their northeast location. I was quite impressed with their facilities and the caring staff at each location. My wife died 12 years ago (today) and she wanted to use their services. My mother died two months ago (again, today) and I went back to the chapel in Grove City. This place is very personal in helping deal with your loss. They honor of their way to help in any way they can. I would recommend this place for sure.

My husband passed away in March. Newcomer handled the funeral arrangements. While it was a sad time for our family, the representatives at Newcomer made it much easier for our family with the services. They were so professional, sympathetic, and truly cared about our family. Not to mention that my husband looked just like the handsome man I married. We were completely satisfied with Newcomer.

My husband Richard Allen Shupe passed away on March 9, 2025 after just a brief three month battle with cancer and he was only 52 years old as of January 5, 2025 and I can tell you newcomer is the best funeral home and the best staff you could ever imagine they were just incredible.
