Neat gym. You'll learn a lot. Great workouts in the advanced classes! I've trained at many boxing gyms in SoCal now and I haven't seen the level of coaching provided to beginners in classes like Newcastle Ringside does. You'll learn proper technique and good fundamentals in boxing here.
If you are serious about boxing, this is the place for you. No nonsense, no fancy stuff, just a great education. I recently moved on from this gym due to personal reasons, and will greatly miss the Newcastle Ringside family, but I can confidently say that out of all the combat sports I've done (TKD, Muay Thai, Judo), I may have learned the most at Newcastle Ringside.
