I booked a lactation consultant appointment for what I thought was fairly mild latching issues and pain on one side. Dr Lisa gave quite different recommendations to what previous health professionals had told me and recommended a specific feeding position for my anatomy and bub's size. Her recommendations fixed the latching pain but also completely changed feeds, making them easier.
