This charming store features products made in the Hudson Valley, as well as made in Newburgh! Parking is a cinch, and Eric is a fantastic framer. Well worth a visit.
We rely on Newburgh Mercantile for so many of our gift needs. It has the feel, selection and service of some hidden gem you might stumble upon in Woodstock, Stockbridge or Provincetown. This weekend we were there to purchase engagement gifts and there was a great selection of unique goods and gifts nicely wrapped by the owners who are always caring and knowledgeable. Worst merchant I ever dealt with. Received two ceramic mugs at Christmas one was broken due to VERY POOR packing. The only thing between the mugs was the Christmas wrap they were wrapped in. We contacted them and sent a picture. At that point owner did not know what he could do. We followed up to be hung up. Then the owner finally called back after a second call. Then he stated he couldn't do anything since it had been three weeks. He didn't want to do anything at all.
