My husband and I wanted to take the time out to give a 5 star review to the Town of Newburgh Highway Department. On Sunday morning after that heavy snow the driver that plowed Gala Drive was top notch! In my 23 years of living on the street, I have never had such a polite and courteous member care enough about the residents not plow them in after my husband was out plowing all morning. I had an issue with the paving of Prospect Hill Road. I contacted the highway depth. Staff and they addressed the problem immediately to a level that was way beyond my expectations. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION IN THIS MATTER, OUTSTANDING JOB.
Antonio was driving the street cleaner when he passed by my son's home. He noticed a large hole near the drainage grate. He stopped, took a photo and contacted his coworkers. They came right over to determine what materials they needed. They filled the hole and the next day came back to blacktop over the hole and to reinforce the curb. Great team work! Thank you to Antonio and the other workers for excellent customer service!
