They were communicative throughout the process of rebuilding our stairs, sensitive to safety issues around our baby and dog during construction, and we’re very happy with the final product.
AJ and his team were professional and honest through the entire process. I was impressed by the workmanship. They restored and preserved my mom's limestone building's stairwell as well as work around our sprinkler system, which was my biggest worry.
These stairs are not functional and they were clearly not the right decision for the space - wish we had been talked through other options. Additionally found out after the fact that spiral staircases lower the value of most New York apartments. Make sure you cover the walls and area around the construction / I had to repaint. With that said, they look good. And, even though everyone has to turn sideways to go down them, they are well constructed.
New York Wood Stairs did a fantastic job! Installation occurred on time and the installer, Henry was very professional, courteous and neat. I would definitely use them again for next project.
