I went to their Bohemia office. They didn’t have a veterinarian for overnight so they sent me away after giving my dog fluids and oxygen. Which was fine because he was perky when leaving and back to his old self. They then put I left against medical advice which I didn’t. I told them I’m filing on my insurance and will this be an issue because it’s $2,000 we don’t have but put on the credit card as they assured us there will be no issues even with it saying against medical ad… See more
Best emergency vet care on Long Island. Great doctors and staff
Dr. Mike & the staff are helping Balto so much. He is no longer in pain and seems to be getting stronger which each treatment. Before I took Balto to NYVS his family & I thought we might have to put him down at an early age. There were times he couldn't get off the floor because of the pain. Now he is like a puppy again. He gives Dr. Mike & the staff lot's of kisses because he knows they are helping him. They are so kind and caring. Thank you New York Veterinary Specialty Center in Farmingdale they are amazing and I highly recommend them! Dr. Alex came outside to discuss Moo's condition with me and I can not express how much that meant considering how hard it is to figure out a course of action when dealing with so many different factors with his health. I've been here with Moo on several occasions and always felt the care was top notch and pricing was excellent considering what other emergency vets charge.
