I put up a new construction home last year and the account got set up as nonresidential. I have been getting high delivery charges and usage fees on my account and no one will change it. I have spent well over 10 hours on the phone and no one will make any progress on helping me with this account. I have been trying to change this for 5 months now with no luck. One star is two stars too many for this shady, unethical, poorly run scam of a business. Too many issues to list over the past decades. My favorite is trying to call the electrical emergency number, spending minutes in their phone tree, getting put on hold just to have it hang up on you every single time. I hope the state investigates, fines and jails the leadership at this place, to make room for less evil competition.
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment how is my bill almost 500$ every month.
I moved out and canceled my electric. 3 years later i get a bill for 3,800$ has gone to collections. Im like i havent lived there for 3 years.. they say well you never canceled, i say yes i did. I had them search their records for the “recorded phone call”.. they couldnt find it.. i paid the bill. Request receipts of EVERYTHING you do, and verify that you have them. Save them, store then, file them. There was no justice there for me this last fall…
Can someone explain delivery charges for electricity? My propane doesn't have a delivery charge! Not only that but it costs more to "deliver" the electricity then what I'm actualy using. This is price gouging and unethical business pactices. Unbrideled greedy lowlifes running that company. Despicable in this day and age when honest hardworking families are being put in the poor house due to electricity bills for electricity they're not even using!
