Get pushed around by state officials easily. Hung Correctional Officer members out to dry during the strike of 25… only started to make an attempt to solve the problem after members bypassed them to attempt to make their own deals with DOCCS Brass. Negotiate poor contracts and tells members to take the disciplinary/contractual/working condition “deals” state offers instead of really going to bat for the members.
Horrible support of their members, left over 2000 out to dry! No leadership, would not trust them to handle any legal matter for me! Slaves to the NY State and their “hired” lawyers!
Refuses to back their members, but will proudly take dues! Do not recommend!
Not even worth 1 star. Unable to represent its members or speak to their issues to resolve years of member concerns. Will take dues without issue however refuses to represent their members. Should be canceled. Please dont re-brand yourself
