I did not have a good experience with Dr. Shalmi and his staff. At the first appointment they asked for a urine sample. I’ve been to a different pain management doctor before but just thought that was their standard protocol. The doctor seemed caring, looked at my MRI, showed me what my issue was gave me a prescription referral for PT and offered medication. He said he would contact my insurance company to authorize a neck injection. A few weeks later a claim was submitted for numerous unnecessary tests to my insurance. ... read more
