I cannot recommend this doctor. During my first visit I was led to believe radiation would be an option for my condition. After being asked to take several tests, some of which another doctor at the facility believed to be unnecessary, I was told surgery was my only option, and there could be complications, etc. Trying to find in-network technicians to conduct tests was a nightmare. One of the best ENT surgeons in NYC. Had a septoplasty and turbinate reduction done by him and his team just last week. I had my splints taken out today. Outstanding care. He explains everything thoroughly and answer any questions you have. Very gentle and knowledgeable. He is a calm and collected person and makes you feel safe. You are in good hands when you are with him. Recommend doctor
The surgery staff were gentle and friendly. They reassured me everything will be okay. It felt as one second, I was asleep then I was awake. Dr. Shin came to speak to me after the surgery. The best part of the surgery is when I woke up the next day, and some of the infection came out of my sinus. I started crying of joy and relief because for years I have been fighting to find someone who will heal me from a pain I have been enduring. Thank you so much Dr. Shin, you are my hero .
I don't know how we found this doctor, but he is truly amazing. He is a great and caring doctor. He helped my son within a week of meeting him. I wish we came to him first for treatment since my son was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis... The staff as well was wonderful. I'm glad I have a new team for help.
