I have been trying to get proper equipment to treat my sleep apnea for months. First the doctor at stonybrook referred me to a dentist office for a mouthguard. The dental office refused to tell me how much it would cost for the mouth guard. They said I needed to come in. After an hour visit I was told my insurance does not cover it and it would be $3,700. HOPE THE DR. GIVES BETTER ATTENTION THAN THE PEOPLE ANSWERING HIS PHONES!!!!!!!!!
Love my doctor, but................ The office staff is always pleasant but being on hold for more than 10 minutes is totally unacceptable. Trying to make an appointment when needed unheard of. I even see the NP when my doctor is booked and she is awesome. 2 stars is for the office. I am not sure why the phones go unanswered or being on hold to make an appointment is excessive. I try to leave a message for the nurse hoping.
The office staff was friendly and I was called in at exactly my appt time! Dr. Seth Koenig was excellent. He has a great bedside manner, was very thorough, and was extremely patient. He answered every question, explained everything in detail, and made me feel like family. Can’t ask for anything more from a doctor! Wonderful experience!
