Give New York a try! It’s one of Pleasant Hill’s finest long time restaurants. They have a hearty, authentic full menu including very reasonable slices. The chicken fettuccine alfredo in particular, steak sandwich, eggplant and chicken Parmesan sandwich, are truly exceptional, as are all menu items. The pizza is excellent and traditional if you want a well-baked saucy pizza with crust. I ordered perhaps 50 times last year and every meal was so satisfying.
