Business Owner Jim is a "Pizzaioli" (Italian for Pizzaman) who grew up on Long Island, Lindenhurst to be exact. After retiring from the Army in 2007 from the 101ST, 2/187, he worked with a Railroad in Nashville. The pizza is really good but kind of greasy but what NY Pizza isn't. It was true NY size. Roughly $20 a pie but definitely worth it. The garlic knots are good as well. The restaurant is nice and clean with friendly service.
I loved this place. The pizza was great, and the service was excellent. The garlic knots were overcooked, but they made them again and offered me a free drink. They were apologetic, but I didn't mind waiting for 5 minutes. Most places would give you the overcooked garlic knots. But not here!
As much as I like pizza from NY. I'm from there, and trust me this is ALMOST the closest you'll get to NY Pizza out here. But honestly, the service just isn't what it used to be when I first started going. Not only are the cobwebs all over the walls and ceilings here. But for the past 3 times I requested for something special on my pizza like extra cheese.. I would appreciate it especially since I'm paying 3 bucks more for it. I don't even get toppings so how is this hard at all.. And I don't know one pizza place in New York... read more
