My husband and I have been doctor Dechiario's patients for decades. Excellent doctor and an exceptional person. We are fortunate. Now at the end of our lives , with frequent serious emergencies, he has given us comport, help and in my case, profound understanding of my erratic behavior.
While in Manhattan, Dr. Alan Dechiario was my primary care doctor for nearly a decade. He is excellent and I have not found another primary care doctor that measures up to his level of quality health care.
Dr. Alan Dechiario was recommended to me by the Chair of the Urology Dept. at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, who I hold in high regard. My wife and I needed a doctor of internal medicine, since ours had retired. The examinations were incredibly thorough. His demeanor was very calming and kind and dedicated to his patients. Dr. Dechiario is wonderful. He treats his patients as if they are special. I felt so comfortable with him. He listens and makes sure you are taken care of in many ways. I think he is one of the nicest doctors I have had in years.
