NY Philarmonic, why have you been scared of Stravinsky's Rites of Spring all these years? Please do a production in 2028!
still one of the greats! one of their contemporary performances was so calming it almost put me and the guy next to me to sleep.
Exceptional orchestra, with a brand new hall that competes with the best around the world. Highly recommend the under 40 program that is offered for the younger audience as it makes prices signficantly more affordable. The staff is always extremely attentive, and strictly enforces the keep quiet policy for the benefit of all concert goers. This hall is the best in New York and is a must see if you are visting from out of town.
