This was the first time I was back in NYCC in 2 years. I was glad to be back. The cosplay was great, the whole general atmosphere was top notch. but fair warning, Friday and Saturday are the most packed days of the event. I was only there for Thursday which in terms of attendance, was very tolerable. I just hope that they don't sell individual day tickets only for next year. The fan verification process is needlessly complicated. I wanted to surprise my fiancé with tickets for his birthday and couldn’t because he also needed to be fan verified. Then once I get the badges I’m told we have to activate the badges or we won’t be able to attend the event. This was our first year attending. It was way too many people.
