RecommendedThis was my first event, and I am definitely just an observer (I tagged along with my daughter!) and don’t really know a lot of these character or popular references. However, I think this was an incredibly well done event. There was so much variety of things to do and see, and it was very well organized. I also have to say after having the treat of seeing the premier of this seasons new Dr Who, I am a new fan! Now I have to binge watch at least Drs 9-12 to get caught up! Well done all, and we will see you next year!
RecommendedOne of the best years for the con. Lines getting in where better then previous years. Was able to find things without a problem. Some critiques are the crowds, but it’s NYCC so that’s expected. Also I wasn’t a fan of the separate con Anime Fest, basically separating major anime events from the con. I do see myself coming back in the future, and I will recommend to other who want to check it out

RecommendedNYCC is a no doubt an amazing experience, especially if you are a fan of comics, because aside from SDCC you will never experience such a concentrated gathering of "Who is Who" & exclusives within the industry. I'm glad I had the experience of this Mega'Con but my advice for those who wish to attend it's to plan your trip early & be as prepared/organized as possible prior to attending. RecommendedUpdated review: NYCC is still a must-attend convention. The cosplay is fantastic and there is a great variety of artists and vendors on the show floor. The guests are also good, and the photo op system is quick and efficient. It has become quite crowded, but the Javits is still a great venue.
