During this outbreak, with other insurers trying to help their insureds, NYCM has done nothing and has ignored my emails asking why.
Terrible company. My broker just informed me that NYCM is dropping me because someone hit my car in January (while it was parked and I was nowhere near it). They did not pay out a single penny, the other person's insurance covered the entire thing- yet they claimed it as a loss due to "frequency of incidents (from an accident 2 years ago)". That should NOT count against me. Now i have 48 hours to find another company, and that "loss" will carry over.
This is the worst insurance company I have EVER had. I paid in full up front to this horrible company and had nothing but problems my whole 6 months before I finally decided (best decision I've ever made) to switch to Allstate. DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THIS COMPANY.
