Horrible place. It does nothing to treat or improve a patient's mental health. It is more detrimental to patients. There is no one to hold the staff accountable for their actions. Psychiatrists can do whatever they want, clinically professional or not, and there are no repercussions or monitoring. No wonder we have a mental health crisis.

I was referred to New Westminster Mental Health and was assigned to Dr. Malomo who I spoke with several times over the course of my treatment. I did not find Dr. Malomo helpful at all. He doesn't know how to communicate effectively with patients. He talks down to you, treats you like you are nothing, and acts like he is all powerful. And don't get me started on what happens if the conversation doesn't go his way or if you have opposing views.

Dr. Kay, you are quite possibly the worst mental health "professional" I have ever seen. Do you get off on misdiagnosing and treating your patients like a joke? What gave you the right to joke not only about my partner, but also my therapist?? I was so terrified to even speak out against what you were saying because I knew you would tell me I'm wrong.
