I’ve worked with New Western before, even closed clean deals with Stephen Weidenheft. But when my assignment fee hit $30K, my first vacant land deal was sabotaged. I had worked with another New Western agent from a different branch and already signed an assignment with them the same morning earnest money was sent. Yet within hours, this branch suddenly became involved, and the deal was canceled. The overlap and timing left me with serious concerns about how things were handled. It gave me the impression that information was used against me, rather than the transaction being managed in good faith. Arrogant and sleazy… they prey on people who are desperate to sell. Worse than the regular “we buy houses” group! They stalk sites looking to low-ball legitimate sellers and try to make you think you’re crazy for asking a reasonable price for your home. A bunch of 20-somethings looking to a get rich quick…it’s ugly out there!
Highly recommend working with NW in DFW, not just as a buyer to find great deals but as an investment company as well. We have closed several transactions with Chance Green who is a rockstar. Has been able to connect us with buyers we wouldn't have been able to find on our own and is extremely professional throughout the entire process. Very transparent and ethical. Look forward to doing lots of business with them for years to come. Highly recommend.
