Called to sign up for Gas and was amazed that I got a Human who spoke perfect English! It's hard to find a company that hasn't gone the telephone nightmare where you're stuck in a loop and never get anyone or they speak broken English & don't understand what you're asking. The rep that picked up suggested I go online & sign up and he stayed on the phone while I did and because I had 3 different addresses to sign up, he stayed on the phone while I did 1 just in case I had problems. It was Easy. The rep I had was awesome! K... read more

New Wave has been my supplier for nearly a year (3 year contract), LOCKED in at $.067. A great rate until they added all these additional fees which double my bill when the electric rates spiked. I spoke with customer service several times and only provide me excesses and stated the excess charges shouldn't last long. If you decide to work with them, be sure you know what you are getting into. They can simply raise the additional fees anytime their margins slip. Thankfully, my energy consultant was able to get us out of the ... read more

So I signed up for a two year contract back in December 2021. Six months later I find out the contact has been canceled. They claim that I was signed up inappropriately. Conveniently they figured this out when the rates went up . I read the contract and they really didn't have a legal out, so after explaining how I would file complaints with the PUC and anyone else that would listen. They agreed to uphold the contract. So it worked out in the end, but how annoying.

Exactly as the other reviewers stated… make sure you cancel 30 Days in advance or they’ll screw you royally. How is this legal? Class action?

Believe the negative reviews. Once you sign you better schedule a reminder to cancel 30 days before your contract expires or you will pay 2-3 times what you should

Update on my prior review After seeing my review the pathetic price gougers, "legal" scammers went above and beyond and now charging $1.2799 per therm, columbia gas remained the same at .37. Those clowns will be reported to the PUC classic bait and switch tactic. to be fair almost all of those "suppliers" use that tactic however New wave is on another level. None of the other suppliers will price gouge you blindsided as they will send a renewal notice well in advance, That shady company "forgets" to do so. Gas price went fr... read more

Chatted with Haylee online regarding new rates and switching suppliers. Haylee was extremely helpful and assisted me to get signed up. Great communication.
