You couldn’t ask for better treatment and the nursing and staff go above and beyond with their patients my husband was in bad shape and the care he got here was amazing
I haven’t been home in almost 10 years and health care in NS is absolutely atrocious but I legit have to say that the new Waterford hospital went above and beyond for my dad this week . He went to the regional last wed and was transferred to new Waterford hospital the nurses that took care of him Travis jazz & parker . But this one nurse Sam went above and beyond for my dad . This is going to mention 2 hospitals within Cape Breton, first the New Waterford hospital is great for quick x rays or blood work but the building is in a state of disrepair,you can see the heat waves escaping every seem in winter and when it rains there are pails placed all throughout the place catching leaks. Now the Regional is something totally different, The wait times are dangerous,especially to a person like myself with a compromised immune system.Regardless a 12 hour wait to see a doctor is not ok but it is a common ... read more
