Love the hopsital ..has a great potential to grow but Poor management is number one reason for this hospital to be done so poor... less staff, old school treatments protocol out of date treatment all they want is to cover the patients.... quanitity over quality.......due to which it is worst place to work for any clinicians especailly for PTs and RN and finally for patients good ...please reconsider when you apply.. I resent what llse12 said . I work there because i love being a nurse and i take pride in my work. I bet she was never on my floors because if she was she would have made these comments.
Very dirty hospital. You are likely to go in with a sore throat and leave with a staff infection...or worse...MRSA, VRE...even flesh eating bacteria. I've seen it. Staff works there because they can't get a job else where. All round nasty place.
I would rather go to MCV or Duke....HRHS is slow when it comes to servicing patients. Their ER is lousy when it comes to timing in regards to getting people in and out.....unprofessional!
Like any hospital anywhere else they will charge the #@$% out of you.
I have not had a negative experience with this hospital, the staff has always been great.
