My experience: After scheduling detox to quit taking "prescribed" pain meds, and after scheduling 3 days off of work, I checked in. After reaching my room, I NEVER received ANY comfort meds, even though I was told by my nurse and my doctor that I would. They both told me that in 20 minutes, I would receive comfort meds, and then in a few hours, I would receive detox meds.
