I just left the facility and I can assure you the other negative reviews are spot on. The management is absolutely horrific, and there is nothing going on here. It’s a joke.

I highly suggest that you look for a different treatment center in pursuit of genuine and actual healing. I had an extremely disappointing and overall poor experience in Monterey. They have only one counselor for 30+ residents and their counselor, Peter Torres, is unprofessional, rude, and inexperienced at what he does as I later found out it’s his first gig as a counselor at Sierra Health- Monterey/PG. Management is terrible, I noticed they delete some negative reviews, they sent me home without my ID, told me that they sent it in the mail, but I never received it. Every person who was in the program when I was there has relapsed since leaving, every single person I know that was there says it does not work. Don’t go here unless you wanna waste $30,000 just to deal with petty staff members.
