Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I did 90 days and was treated with respect and empathy. The staff were more than attentive to my needs. USMC OIF vet with PTSD & Substance Abuse Disorder. I was able to develop a rapport with my counselor and therapist and finally address the issues that have been holding me back. The environment is clean, comfortable and safe. The food is the best I have had in any treatment. I stayed at Sierra health and wellness for two weeks when I first did the intake Marcella, the program director told me they would secure housing and somewhere for me to afterwards. Out of all days Marcella decided to discharge me on Presidents Day without ANY warning due to insurance reasons (couldn’t get an extension) She literally threw me in the rain and dropped me off at the bus stop with nowhere to go. I/we are sooo very blessed to the dedicated & empathetic STAFF (J Brown, Joanne, Sara and Jacob to name a few) and many others. This place is next to HEAVEN. Be sure to to do SELF CARE and to take of each other so you can continue your mission statement: WE R ONE!! G/B

This place was absolutely atrocious. I spent 83 days here trying to get better and it was complete hell. I wrote a long seven paragraph review in my out patient review saying how bad this place was. Only 3 people were awesome there. Lisa, Liz, and Sue. The rest were rude, mean, not helpful and the program director was also bad. Took 7 times before she learned my name. After plans to send my husband to a treatment facility in Texas unraveled, I was put in contact with David at Sierra Heath and Wellness. He explained everything thoroughly and we had my husband on a plane to California the next day. Throughout my husband’s stay he commented on how great the chefs/food was, how nice the nursing team was, and how helpful the councilors and therapists were.
