one of the few places left with a sauna/steam room This is one of the few places left in seattle with a sauna/steamroom, its a bit expensive at 15$ an hour, but still a good place to go. I have been frequenting the establishment for prob about 5 years. before the remodel it was 5$ an hour, now that is a good deal. I have found no alternative so as of now its a great place to go. Also the managment team does a great job of resolving any issues that may arise during your visit.
Good place for injury massage New Seattle Massage is a little tough to find (pay attention to the 1/2 in the address), but it's a very comfortable and professional atmosphere inside. I went in for a massage after injuring my back, and this was the perfect massage. It wasn't a soft, light massage. The therapist really pushed and made an obvious difference. Relax the back! New Seattle Massage is a great place for a professional massage.. The prices are fair and they offer other services you can add for a small fee.. Parking is easy and the staff is professional..
Prices $42 for 1/2 hours $72 for 1 hour Is that how much massages are going for these days? I've always though $60 1hr was a good deal. I haven't been here myself.
New Seattle Massage is located on the Ave in the U-District, and is a non-corporate yet still professional massage clinic. The rooms are painted soothing colors, and they employ a variety of well-trained masseuses to iron out your knots. Also, they have a sauna and steam room that you can use for a mere $5--even when you don't get a massage. Plus, you get parking tokens so you don't have to hunt for street parking or worry about being towed during your massage--you park for free!
