One of the many great features this store offers is the ability to cook crab that you buy there, while you shop for your other grocery items. YUMMY They have the best selection of foods! You cant go to New sagaya without trying some of there eggplant pate! Its out of this world along with there pizza and heck anything else in the store dont worry you cant go wrong and whats even better is its affordable!!
A place to find hard to get items This is a gourmet store, I can find things there that I cannot find in any other market around town. The prices are a bit high, but that might be due to the shipping of these items to Alaska. Customer service is not great, but that is not a huge factor when I am trying to find things not available at the corner store.
Great selection This place is great! They have theast expensive rice noodles in town. They also have a great seafood selection and produce (expensive, but good which is hard to find). They have good sushi and other ready to eat types of food. They also have other products which you can't find anywhere else around at decent prices.
Everything under the sun~ New Sagaya has almost every type of gourmet food you can possibly imagine. They have some hard to find juices that I love too- apricot nector is difficult to find. The produce is just gorgeous and cheaper for organic than anywhere I have found in Anchorage. The seafood section is where I spend most of my cash though.
