Just spent 500 dollars for them to test my dog for parvo and give the dog a little bit of meds and then they want 2000 dollars for the treatment at home and then 200 dollars everyday for the next two weeks and the lowest they could offer us 750 a months for three months
They are a very compassionate and had our boy, Brody comforted at ALL times. Never once did they try to push surgery based on the extent of their findings. He had a massive mass on his liver and was bleeding in his abdomen. This was unexpected and came quickly. Unfortunately we had to have him euthanized based on his quality of life. Could not be more pleased how New River handled everything. Fully recommend! Estimates were giving immediately. No hidden costs.
We could not have been more pleased with New River Veterinary Specialists today. Our pooch needed to be put to sleep today with a major medical condition, and the staff at New River were so accommodating and compassionate. Way better than the reviews would lead you to believe. On one of the saddest days of our lives, these special people made it just a little more manageable. I highly recommend!!
What a blessing to have this emergency care center open 24/7! Our dog was attacked at a dog park and we couldn’t get the blood to stop from his ear on a Saturday night. From the moment we called, we were greeted with calm and care. The staff helped us get him in to the building and quickly assessed the situation. They were straightforward about the fees and kept us posted throughout the procedure. My dog left after surgery with a wagging tail. The follow up care was also a very positive experience for my dog and I.
PLEASE READ- as short as possible to fit We took our baby to the doctors and they thought it was pneumonia . However she did not respond which lead us back to be back to the vets shortly after. When we went back to the vets, we were sent to the ER vet to do “an emergency ct scan” that would cost $3500 to see if she had cancer. When we got there They tried to sell us on over night treatments and hospitalizations so that the dog could be well nourished for 24 hours before the ct scan. they wanted $10k to do just that.
