New hours this year for both the Lighthouses and Museum. Opening Memorial Day Weekend! For complete information got to our website!
Lots of information on the Lighthouses at Presque Isle at their site:
The lady in the gift shop was super friendly and knowledgeable. There's also a museum and though can walk up to the water and see all around the point into lake Huron.
This is one of the best restored Lighthouses in Michigan, complete with the Light-keeper's House fully restored also, lots of hiking, and clean rest rooms. Picnics are great here right on the lake.
If you're not afraid of heights, climb to the top (129 steps) and walk outside for incredible views, including Canada.
You can climb to the top! 130 steps!
New Presque Isle Lighthouse has a 4.8 star rating with 657 reviews.
