My father was in the memory care facility. During the time he was there, his personal items continually disappeared, his room was not kept clean and orderly. The staff did not provide activities and instead sat the residents in front of the television and sat on the other side of the room talking and on their cell phones. Memory care is atrocious. People who barely speak English do not comfort or relax distressed patients. My grandmother was literally starved to death there when she got sick, because they couldn't "find a hospital bed" to help her eat with. They have her boxes meals, and didn't even open the plastic silverware. I even had a tough time opening the baggie to get the spoon and fork. She was covered in her feces the last time I saw her, because her nurse was "doing meds" so she has to wait. And she had diaper rash. It was awful o... read more
