I posted this review almost 2 years ago. I’m adding a warning. Things have changed at New Perspective. And the thing have gleaned from this is depending on management and leadership. Something that can be good for six months can turn 180° in a heartbeat . A staff shortage, lack of training program, a different focus, and it feels as though things can change within weeks. I've been here for 7 months really enjoy it , the directors amazing !
If you desire quality of life for your elderly family members in their last years DO NOT move them to New Perspective Highland Park. Our family member is not being properly cared for; there are bugs in their apartment, the entire facility smells terrible, it is FILTHY, they do not have nurses on duty most of the time, nobody answers the phone or returns calls, residents are left to their own devices most times.
