The absolute worst of the worst!!!! Absolutely terrible attitude and absolutely terrible work. Every time I went, I had to go back, no matter what kind of work (brakes, pads…) We paid him at least twice to repair the ATV. He diagnosed it wrong the at least twice. It would start once and not again. And yes, he did come over at least 5 times because he does not know what he’s doing. We had another mechanic take care of of it. Honestly a great overall experience here at New Paltz Auto Works! From the work done on my Nissan, the workers and the owner. I have been taking not only my car but my families cars here for years. They truly care about the work that is done with their cars and are always upgrading there machines and systems. If you are anywhere in the area, I 100% recommend going to this shop. Scammers. Were supposed to replace a water pump on my son's car and instead splashed some sealant on it which failed after a couple weeks. I subsequently checked on yelp and they pull this scam a bunch. Who knows what else they do. When I got the water pump replaced my mechanic here showed me the crack and the place where they had applied some sealant instead of replacing the water pump. Never do ANY business with these crooks. EVER.
