This was an ok experience. Cool to be on the boat, but my wife and I were just moderately impressed. Be ready for a lot of people & mediocre food. The views along the river were cool but our trip was on a cold day. Dress for the weather if you plan to sit outside! It was cold enough we’re most wanted to sit inside, but there wasn’t room for everyone.
We went on the New Orleans Steamboat River Cruise on Feb 25, 2026 and had a wonderful time! The staff was friendly, the bartender did an amazing job serving lots of people, the jazz band was great, and most importantly the food was fantastic!! The servers were very nice, too! We heard some interesting history as we cruised down the Mississippi, and saw the gorgeous lit up skyline, and then ate a marvelous buffet dinner!! I highly recommend this dinner cruise down the Mississippi!!!!
