We went on the New Orleans Steamboat River Cruise on Feb 25, 2026 and had a wonderful time! The staff was friendly, the bartender did an amazing job serving lots of people, the jazz band was great, and most importantly the food was fantastic!! The servers were very nice, too! We heard some interesting history as we cruised down the Mississippi, and saw the gorgeous lit up skyline, and then ate a marvelous buffet dinner!! I highly recommend this dinner cruise down the Mississippi!!!!

My friends and I rented this "jazz cruise" thinking it would make a lovely memory of our time in New Orleans, however, it did everything but that. They advertise it as a sunset ride with nice jazz performances throughout, quality dinner, etc. but it's not worth the cost AT ALL. The jazz band played for a solid 30 min while boarding the ship, then stopped until the last 15 min of the ride. seating was extremely limited so we had to watch them from a tiny TV screen inside the enclosed bar area on the boat. It was an unwelcome surprise that the dinner is buffet style. Given the heavy tourist attraction I’d say 200 dollars to eat other people’s poo is a bit excessive.
