Absolute highlight of my visit. Being on the water navigating through the trees was totally magical. Guide MJ was very informative of the ecosystem and let us go at our own pace. Don't skip this!
Awesome experience on the tour with our guide Stephanie. It was a beautiful day but 30C heat meant the gators were hiding. Whilst I didn't spot any gators that day (one guy in our group did) the trip was still enjoyable as the guide was knowledgeable about the swamp, trees and wildlife and kayaking in the sun is fun too. Spotted a raccoon at the end which made up for the illusive gators. Great day out and would recommend. Thanks a lot guys.
I went on the Manchac kayak tour and it was such a great experience! Our tour guide Alex knew so much about the wildlife, plants, and history of the area!!
A great way to experience the Swamp and see some local wildlife. Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about the fauna and wildlife of the swamp. Got to see many birds, a pair of raccoons and some juvenile gators - we even watched as one crunched on a crab or crayfish.
I did this tour with a group of friends and we had a great time! Alex was an excellent guide - providing us with interesting facts on history, the plants and animals of the swamp, and even some spooky folklore! Would definitely recommend this tour if you’re in the New Orleans area or visiting.
