The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Center is a melting pot of culture. This community-driven establishment, located in a historic building in Tremé, is home to a 200-seat performance venue as well as seven classrooms. It hosts an array of live concerts, dance and performing arts by local and touring artists and musicians. Their aim is to educate and inspire music talent, and to carry forward the legacy of southeast Louisiana.

I love this festival and have been many times. The variety of music, the number stages going simultaneously, the food, the city (festival winds up around seven...off to the Quarter); the shows at various venues at night, the food, the great crowds....friendly, happy, peaceful, the choice of two weekends, great hotels...did I mention the food, party till 4am sleep till eleven, the crafts, the chance to meet many of the acts, the casino, the shopping, the great transportation to the site, great logistics...and the food.
