Bought about 20,000 dollars worth of furniture , a hutch , large 20 ft table and 14 chairs , the chairs are very unstable , meaning they tip very easily , we had to get three repaired already and paid about 100 dollars to repair each one , now three more chairs cracked and broke while falling to the floor when pushing yourself out from the table , they say that they are guaranteed, but that is not the case , we are now asked to pay another 100 dollars per chsir to have them repaired. My wife and I recently had a baby. We came in very soon after coming to hospital as we wanted one of their rocking chairs. The service was amazing. They rushed delivery just for us. In addition the rocking chair is amazing. I have purchased from the New Oak Tree twice now, and twice I have had stellar service. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with the staff at the New Oak Tree in Carleton place. We bought a beautiful set of 6 chairs, and a beautiful table and buffet .We are so pleased. Having a century-old farmhouse means unconventional ceiling slopes and measurements. Custom made furniture was required, but with a gorgeous "vintage" look. The New Oak Tree came through perfectly. They offered options we hadn't thought of, matched the wood finishes with perfection, delivered and installed every piece with care. Very impressed with the service and the purchase results. We started with a dining room set, thorougly liked it, so also purchased a gorgeous bedroom set. Strongly recommend this store.
