This has to be one of the worst DMV offices to ever exist.
This office and the people who work there are terrific!! They're courteous, organized, hard working, patient and effective. I drove all the way down from Questa and I am glad I did.
My daughter is military and was in NM for a quick visit. Had an appointment set up for a month. The day of the appointment, it snowed and the offices were closed. Went the next day and she was denied her real I'd because she had not been in the state long enough for covid guidelines. She had gotten a covid test with negative results. Ugh.
They are by appointment only because of all the covid stuff even though they are already inside glass cubes. They never answer the phones and to top it off their website doesnt even work. Ok I guess I'll just drive around without a registration. We shouldn't have to chase you around for you to do your job. Taxpayer money at work as usual...
Waited over an hour on hold to speak to someone about a drivers license that was never mailed to me--since the temporary license was 3 days expired they will expect me to go back in with all documentation and pay them for a job THEY never did in the first place. Would it kill the MVD to have a nice person working the phones?
