Have seen several therapists here, particularly Josh Irvine. He is knowledgeable, kind, and skillfull. Highly recommend.
I participated in 3 sessions with my son who has been seeing Josh for some time. The first 2 weren't much help. Thought I'd not participate again, but I did a 3rd time against my better judgment. Wow, the things he said and then he actually yelled at me. So wrong, especially as a counselor. Apparently he's taken this approach with my son. Would not recommend him at all. Participated in 3 sessions with an adult child who sees Josh. Not impressed, the 3rd time he yelled at me. I participated against my better judgement from the first 2 times. NEVER should a counselor yell at you. Apparently this can be his approach with my son at times. Totally uncalled for. You should not feel worse after having a talk session.
My husband and I both go here. I love the privacy and thoughtfulness the waiting area provides. It feels like visiting a friend not a business so you are at ease before you even begin. Our marriage is better, our faith is stronger, and our individual selves are doing more thriving and less surviving after just 3 months of consistent therapy. Very thankful for this safe space and for our separate therapists. Matthew 6:33: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
