We went here for marriage counseling, and right from the get-go it was obvious she didnt like my husband, and seemed very biased. All she really did was recommend books, which he isnt a reader, and she was told that. I read them, they were not helpful. I felt like she talked down to me a lot, and just was not helpful. He still walked on us, so counseling with them was useless.
Dunno if Michelle rankin still works there but she’s an interesting gal. Yelled at me cuz i hit a chord with her and keep in mind the thing I said was totally abt me and my situation and had nothing to do with her at all and no fowl language was said… like I remember this cuz I was so dumbfounded… I paid $120 just to get yelled at and she projected soooooo much of her own emotions onto me it was like I was listening to an ex girlfriend… she should NOT be in any field when it comes to dealing with people’s emotions. When I signed up for counseling I was very clear about not wanting any religious aspects as part of my sessions. They accepted my application. Day one I walk in and they are playing christian praise music. Which was extremely triggering for me and made me extremely uncomfortable. Especially since I stated on my patient application that I did not want religion based counseling.
