Doctors are great but thats about it. The administration fails at ever level. I recently had a prostate biopsy and prior to the procedure I enquired with several of the staff if the referral I had was going to cover this procedure, of course they said yes! That was until I received a bill from Summit for approximately $8600.00 because my insurance, Horizon Blue Cross, wouldn't cover it. And the sad thing is, this isn't the first time. I had a very disappointing experience with this urology office — and I hadn't even become a patient yet. I called to inquire about becoming a new patient and to confirm whether my insurance would cover the services I needed. One nurse initially took my information and told me to call back with my plan “type”. When I did, a different nurse answered, and after I explained my situation, the tone shifted dramatically. Will absolutely never be returning here. Going on two hour wait and still haven’t been seen. Wish I would’ve read the reviews before scheduling
this office is terrible!!! it takes forever to get an appointment and they make you wait FOREVER in the back while they sit and chit-chat just to come in for a 5 min conversation. so inconsiderate of people’s time. people have lives outside of a doctor’s appointment. truly terrible. this office needs to go under new management or something. this is not how people’s HEALTH should be handled.
