Tried to become a new patient. Called 5/7 and told couldn’t make an appointment had to fill out forms. Did that and emailed in. Received no word back and called to follow up on 5/15. Was told my paperwork was on a list to call that gets gone through weekly. Then was told I wouldn’t get my first appointment until June/ July. Just don’t take on new patients if it’s this hard and discouraging. Why should I have to jump through hoops to give you my business?!
I was a patient of Dr. Colombo and Dr. Lukenda for approximately 7 years. Both doctors are kind and considerate and even helped diagnose my aunt when no other doctor could. They are the reason I will not give 1 star. However, the front desk staff has never been kind to me. As a medical receptionist myself, I know how things get. Dr. Lukenda and the entire team at New Jersey Family Medical take great care of myself and my family. An overall excellent practice!
Dr. Lukenda, there is no compassion or professionalism, as someone commented. They were lucky during their visit... Sometimes I also witness rudeness in the service. One Saturday, I made an appointment with Dr. Lynn Colombo, and Mr. Lukenda showed up. He didn't even say good morning, asked what was wrong with me, left for a few seconds, returned with a prescription, gave it to me, and turned his back in silence.
