The New Jersey Athletic Club is outstanding ! Customer service, clean equipment area, feeling and atmosphere! Special thanks to Christine and Robert who walked me through, and helped me register for my membership, that did not take a thousand years to process! I just joined about a week ago, and granted I am new, but customer service has become ancient in the world, and to be greeted in the morning/afternoon, and have issues handled in an orderly fashion is A+ in my book..
My mom tried to set up a membership at NJAC. Wrap your head around this. She signed a contract that she would pay $35 a month for their senior special that the man at the counter told her about. They later called my mom and told her they ended that months ago and she had to pay $50 a month and REFUSED to honor the $35 a month. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. TERRIBLE PLACE. Great place for working out?
Received advertising flyer in a mail, scan QR code for online access gym pictures and membership types & cost information online, -NO SUCH THING, also online FAQ saying clearly you can sign up online, its a lie-NO SUCH POSSIBILITY to sign up online, website instead directs you to call or come in person. Just called to NJAC, representative couldn’t explain why on their website says: you can easily sign up online, but in reality there is NO OPTION to do that.
