I stayed in this program for almost 2 years. You're not going to be sober until you're ready to accept you're issues, and you're ready to face them. These beautiful people in this program are harsh, but in a manner at which you'll learn who you are, what your facing in your issues... and how to overcome them and face them. New Horizons has truly saved my life. I'm so grateful god had it planned to put me in the direction of having a bed available for me in my time of need. The staff go above and beyond for us no matter the cost. We are all like a family here, yes we have everyday obstacles we face but we always get thru them. The donations that we receive are not your average things what other programs do you get things with tags on them still. Great place.. great staff. The director truly cares for the clients. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond for the clients.
At least the building looks nice, addicts always choose a softer easier way. It's hard to listen or care to want to be different while people treat you as a child or better than you. These places do help some people that first want to change; if ya don't at least it spares you from having to go serve your time . This particular place may not be the place for help, I didn't see any reviews or comments of anyone posting how it saved their life or anything good. Now I guess I'll know how much it helped family of mine.
Insurance fraud. No therapist; but still get billed for having one.
