I wish I could give them zero stars. Their intake department is a central site, it’s not linked directly to NEW HORIZON. I have been trying to get reinstated for services since April 2025. CARMIN from the intake department has been trying to reach NITZA- “The clinical director” FOR MONTHS! She doesn’t answer emails and she doesn’t have a direct line. Stay away from this facility. The social workers quit every other week. The front desk can't even make an appointment correctly. They should be shut down they are pathetic
I'm truly dissatisfied with this counseling center. On two occassions, my daughter waited patiently for her counselor to log on, just to receive a "No Show!" Long Island Jewish Hospital should not recommend them for out patient services. Don't waste your time with them.
Everything about New Horizon is wonderful! I have been going to New Horizon for over a year and have always had a great experience. The entire staff at the front desk, Anthony and Dr Oz always makes you feel like you are a priority and they really care. I honestly don’t know where I would be mentally if it weren’t for the tools they teach you and the care you receive. I always look forward to seeing Anthony once a week for treatment and Dr.oz once a month .
I completed treatment here with Gianna who is on the 3rd floor , I must say when I initially started I didn’t think I was going to get much out of it and I had A LOT going on in my personal life. Gianna was the breath of fresh air I needed, she was warm, welcoming and made me feel so comfortable talking to her and telling her what I’ve been dealing with.
